Sam Jenkins

Sam’s passion for radio started 30 years ago when she joined Hospital Radio Chelmsford, taking an active role in both presenting and being part of the Station Management team.  She has hosted many events and can often be found on a stage either interviewing, presenting awards, or keeping the crowds entertained at local events.

Apart from this, Sam is a Learning and Development Consultant and enjoys helping people learn and grow, she is a proud Mum of twins, likes to socialise with friends and family, and if she can’t be found quickly then she is probably on a holiday! She also enjoys keeping fit, going to the gym, and recently completed the London Marathon twice in 6 months raising funds for Havens Hospices.

Sam is really excited about joining the City Sound Team and looks forward to chatting to you all between 12 -2 every weekday.
