When presenting my show, I hope to achieve a few things. One is to provide exposure to innovative and experimental local, national, and international musicians by playing newly released music that may not be heard on other radio stations. Another is to publicise upcoming art, culture, and music events in Chelmsford. A third is to entertain listeners with an eclectic mix of indie and alternative songs.

Since it launched, I have contributed music articles to Menticulture Magazine, Chelmsford’s only zine dedicated to the county city’s artists, musicians, writers and makers. I also run a music and culture blog - Even Butterflies Make A Sound. Shindig!, Detour, Planet of Sound, and ArtHub UK have also published my work.

Away from City Sound, I occasionally promote national and international acts at Chelmsford’s Hot Box and Radio City Social venues.
