Jon Colly

Jon has always been into music, ever since sitting recording the top 40 charts on a tape player. 

He has been a mobile DJ for over 20 years and has played with great names such as Judge Jules, amongst others. Many of you will know Jon as he has DJ’d at many bars and clubs across Essex as well as mobile discos ranging from Birthday parties to weddings. 

Jon’s radio career started as a volunteer at Hospital Radio Chelmsford in 2015, hosting the Tuesday evening request show, and we are really pleased he is bringing his great humour and style to City Sound. 

Originally from Birmingham but moved to Essex, Jon is always laughing and smiling and loving life with his wife, two children, and dog here in Chelmsford.
